The mobile shelving archive, or mobile shelving, is composed of a series of shelving modules that move on mobile bases, which in turn slide on rails. The movement that proceeds from right to left and vice versa allows the modules to “compact” with each other and, with the same space occupied by a static shelving system, to double the filing and storage capacity.
